O universe, I implore you for mercy!
To the stars of my past,
I seek a renaissance while my world descends into decline and darkness.
I ask the stars to forgive my past transgressions.
For all I have done and should not have done,
If you gazed into my eyes, O mighty universe, you would witness a yearning for light,
Therefore, at the dawn of this light, kindle this candle to rekindle the stars with hope and love.
As I bid a thousand goodnights, my dear,
Perhaps they may once more illuminate the mighty.
For when all roads appear impossible, we may yet construct bridges,
Yet enough has been endured, and it is time to turn to a new chapter in our lives.
So, a goodnight kiss to the universe and to my loved ones,
Let us begin tomorrow as new, unburdened by our past obstacles.
Since we are all flawed, may we all find redemption and return to brilliance.
So that flowers may bloom even in winter once more.
