Melody Of Hope

Eyes closed, searching the skies for the soul longing to breathe.

From this day, where time and space wage war against my weary heart,

I struggle—as all do—to find solace in the night.

Craving a path to the sun, a relief after relentless rain.

Eyes closed again, I felt my feet connect with the earth, my breath releasing the remnants of yesterday.

The weight that held me down faded, waiting in silence for the promise of sunrise.

Even in this ravaged calm, where monotony felt strangely comforting,

I drew in a fresh, hopeful breath after the storm.

Now, all of this feels like heaven.

Here, in the midst of my nowhere land,

Eyes closed, I drifted from past to present.

I found the strength to return to peace in the now, listening to birds whispering hope and life into the shadows of my days.

In the quiet, I whispered gently to myself:

Dear me, look around—let go of the darkness and begin to see the light.

Notice every bit of positivity, even when days feel impossibly hard.

Be grateful for every small thing, especially after surviving a terrible past.

If you pay attention, you’ll see abundance and countless reasons to be thankful.

Rest now, and tomorrow, give yourself the chance to let your dreams and promises shine.

You still have time to fulfil them all.
