Here are this week's recommendations.
Let's start with an old show we love: Hung, available on HBO and HBO Max. It follows a school gym teacher who needs extra money to pay his bills, so he becomes an escort for women. All three seasons are on HBO Max. The show stars Thomas Jane as Ray Drecker, Jane Adams as Tanya Skagle, Stephen Amell as Jason, and Anne Heche as Jessica Haxon.
It is a brilliant show.
Our Second pick of week is A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, who is a spinoff of Games Of Thrones. The show was created by Ira Parker and George R R Martin. It comes as prequel of Games of Thrones. We were very surprise with the show, who is quite different from all others spinoff of Games Thrones we have seen. For us, it is definitely a winner. let's us know what you think. ( HBO Max)
We recommend the Spanish series Alpha Males, which follows four men as they explore topics such as toxic masculinity, the deconstruction of masculinity, and their relationships with women and gay men. The show addresses these themes with humour. At Basket, we watched it in Spanish and found it engaging. Multiple seasons are available, with the latest released recently. ( Netflix)
Dearest Gentle Reader, we present our final recommendation. While it may not be the most original choice, we continue to enjoy Bridgerton. With Valentine’s Day approaching, we thought you might not have seen it yet and may wish to give it a try. In season 4, Benedict seeks a wife. Some may wonder why Benedict is not searching for a husband, given his bisexuality in Bridgerton. This is primarily because, during the period in which the story is set, homosexuality and bisexuality were not widely accepted. Overall, Bridgerton season 4 has generally met our expectations, although we found Season 3 rather unengaging until the final two episodes.
