Tv Shows We like

At Basket, we love Roman and historic stories. The House of Ashur is a stand-alone from the TV show Spartacus. It follows the House of Ashur, held by a Syrian played by Nick E Tarabay, and his doctore, played by Graham McTavish. The story continues the Gladiator's storyline and its sequel. The House of Ashur adds a feminist touch by introducing a female gladiator named Achilla, played by Tenika Davis.

At Basket, we gave it a watch. The show is quite violent and raunchy in many ways. Sometimes we find the violence shocking and extreme, but it makes the battles and history feel more real. We love The House of Ashur.

So far, it earns our 5/5 stars for the story, but we find it quite violent. This show is not for everyone because of its violence and raunchy storyline.

Palm Royale season 2  ( Apple Tv)

At Basket, we love season 1, which was superb and satiric. Season 1 tells the story of Palm Royale, a group for the wealthy. It follows Maxime, played brilliantly by Kristen Wiig, a normal girl who marries a rich man, played by Josh Lucas. Season 2 continues this storyline and adds a gay butler (Ricky Martin), who is also Norma's platonic or not platonic lover. Carol Burnett plays Norma with grace. It keeps the best of season 1 but adds more than we expect from a second season. We love the character Laura Dern plays.

For us, it is not a show everyone will watch because it is not as trendy as others, but since The Studio is also on Apple TV, we believe Palm Royale is worth a chance. It is light, dark, and funny to watch. At Basket, we are huge fans of Palm Royale.

We give Palm Royale so far 5/5
