At Les Epicuriens, we are starting a new chapter together. Building on the shared excitement from the launch of our Book Club and its first selection, Books on Rasputin: And the Downfall of the Romanov, we invite all coming new members to join us in discovering our latest feature: Going Out or Les Epicuriens Spectacles. As spring and summer approach, let us, as a community, explore upcoming festivals and continue our journey of collective discovery.

Now, let’s tune into music and dive into films! After exploring books, we invite you to join us as we move into the worlds of jazz and sustainable cinema.

The 43rd Music Festival, a renowned jazz event, will take place on 10 April 2026 in Cully. This year’s program features artists such as Melodie Gardot, Fatoumata Diawara, Tony Ann, Anouar Brahem, Jamie Duffy, Esgui, Bahamadia, Ruffcats Bands and DJ Eclipse, ELÆNA, and many more. Among the must-see acts, Melodie Gardot is sure to enchant the audience with her soulful voice and evocative songs, while Fatoumata Diawara promises an electrifying fusion of jazz and Malian traditions. For those seeking something unique, Anouar Brahem's captivating oud performance and Tony Ann's genre-crossing piano set are highly recommended. If you are looking for suggestions, these standout performances are not to be missed and would make an excellent starting point for your festival experience.

Next, we turn to film. At Les Epicuriens Culture ou Spectacle, we value nature. If you enjoy movies and want to learn how to make our planet greener and more sustainable, this festival is for you, especially if you live in Switzerland. The program includes documentaries, feature films, and short films focused on sustainable development, nature, and ecology.

Looking beyond Switzerland, we now focus on international film. Here is this year's selection Officiel from the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. At Les Épicuriens, we are enthusiastic supporters of the Cannes Film Festival and have made it a cherished tradition to follow its highlights each year. In past years, our club enjoyed vibrant discussions around previous Cannes winners such as Parasite and Portrait of a Lady on Fire, and we always look forward to discovering new favourites together. If you have a memorable Cannes film from a past edition that stands out to you, we encourage you to share your reflections as part of our ongoing tradition.
